What I did on my summer vacation

I don't know about you but I had a really busy summer. We had a trip that took us to both Massachusetts and Michigan. Here's a lengthy recap of what I got to do. Above is a photo of me playing candle pin bowling (we needed to escape a thunderstorm and so my cousins introduced me to this unusual style of bowling). While on the Cape I got to run around like crazy with my cousins. This year I wasn't held back by needing a nap each afternoon. I was super busy. For example, I did a lot of crafts.

We spent a couple of days at the beach and that was tons of fun at low-tide. Again, I LOVED running around with my cousins.

And digging around in the sand and getting dirty is fun too!

Motocycles? SURE!!!

Trampolines? Of course!!

And it doesn't get much better than bumper boats!!!

I might get a little sand in my snack but that is okay... the view is worth it. And the beach is oh so relaxing.

But by the end of the week I was pretty tired.

Oh, and I almost always come home with some cool hand-me-downs.

Next we ventured to Grandma's house in Michigan. She got us this pretty cool little "kiddie pool."

Ice cream? Don't mind if I do!

Here I am lounging on the floor of the State Capitol where Grandma works. We were taking a look at the beautiful interior of the dome.

I'm not much of a swimmer yet, but here is proof that I went willingly into Glen Lake (there were some other kids visiting and I couldn't miss out on the fun). I was up to my neck! Of course the next day I refused to swim just to keep my parents guessing.

Again, all of this fun can be really tiring.

A little manicure with Grandma? Of course!! As you can see I had a pretty awesome vacation. Can't wait for next year!
