2 year check-up

Well, I just got back from my well visit with the pediatrician. Here's some notes that mom took:

Carolyn is doing great! Pretty much your average 2 year old. She's 28.5lbs (75%) and 35 inches (85%). There is still an innocent heart murmur present, but the doctor mentions that mainly so that if we were to ever be out of town and had to take Carolyn to urgent care this wouldn't be news to us. It's nothing we need to do anything about. Carolyn did not want to step on the scale by herself so I had to step on the scale while holding her. She also put up a fuss when getting her height measured. She's just a little feisty at times. The funny thing was when it came to getting her vaccination she was more pissed about the fact that I removed half of her shirt than she was about getting the shot. She was wearing one of her favorite tops (Snow White pajama hand-me-down from cousin Catherine) and she stopped crying the second her shirt was back on. Weirdo.

Robby had to come along to the appointment and boy is that kid chatty. I tried to tell him that this appointment was about Carolyn and that he needed to be quiet while I talked to he doctor. Well, like a true older sibling he had to pipe in with is own two cents about his sister.

"You know, Carolyn likes to touch all of my stuff. And she can be really naughty sometimes."

Anyway, all went well and we are happy to have that done with. The next well visit isn't until she's 3!
