1 year well-check

Here's an update from my 1 year visit to the doctor's office:

Height: 30 1/4 inches (85%)
Weight: 20 lbs 12 oz (50%)
Head circumference: 47.5 cm (97%)

The growth of my head is starting to plateau so the doctor says that is great. And my heart murmur has gotten "lighter" so that is good news too. My mom explained my latest milestones (crawling, standing, a few words) and I got the go ahead to eat anything I want except for peanut butter.

The crummy thing about the visit was that I had to get 2 shots. But I was very brave and didn't cry! I whined a little in protest, but that was it.

note from mom:
The fact that Carolyn didn't cry when she got her shots was amazing! The nurse said "the MMR shot really stings so she'll definitely scream." Hardly a peep out of this little girl. I don't know if helped things that she'd missed her morning nap and was over tired (you'd think it would be the opposite). The nurse was just shocked at how well Carolyn did. She said "oh, you are tough! You'll do great when you have to get your shots for kindergarten. We saw the doctor again out in the hallway and she was also surprised that Carolyn hadn't freaked out. Good girl!

Maybe it is in the blood - Jack doesn't really mind shots either - he screams for about 15 seconds and then is fine.

She's likely been exposed already w/ cross contamination since Robby has a peanut butter sandwich everyday for lunch. The doctor said to wait until 15 months.
