I had my 6 month well visit today so here is an update on how I'm growing. I weigh 14lbs 11oz (as opposed to 11lbs 14oz at 4 months!). I'm about 26 inches long and I apparently have a humongous head circumference (90th percentile). The nurse and the doctor took that measurement three different times. The consensus is that I have a very big and powerful brain that is growing rapidly!I'm right on target developmentally. I'm sitting on my own quite well and the doctor was impressed. I can grab toys and even pass them hand to hand. The doctor also said that I can start eating solids more than once a day. I can also try more interesting foods too!
The downside of the appointment was that I needed another round of immunizations. I had to get 5 shots. You can imagine that I was not a happy camper. Thankfully my mom put me down for a nap when I got home. It was a tough afternoon.
